Serious Grippage & Light Co., New Mexico's premier rental house for the film and video industry, has been in business since 1988. Started as a small company by Greg Eichman in order to live in his home state of New Mexico and be able to supplement his day rate as a working grip. He began purchasing equipment, as his budget would allow. As a continually growing company S G & L now houses:

Company President, Greg Eichman is a working Lighting Director/Gaffer. Greg and his staff pride themselves in offering quality service in a timely matter at a fair price. We operate as a rental house and as dealers for major motion picture equipment companies, (i.e. American Grip, Arriflex, Modern, Setwear, Chimera) but see our equipment primarily as tools of our trade.

For the Movie Industry we offer Hollywood prices with Local attention to detail and service. We are currently the only legally operated Grip/Electric Rental House in New Mexico for qualifying your production for New Mexico's Tax Incentive Rebate.

For our commercial productions a Grip/Electrician driver closely associated with our operation always accompanies any truck that Serious sends out on a commercial job. This is our way of providing maximum service including knowledge of the truck/package, economical expendable sales, (gel sold by the foot) and special attention to exact circumstances surrounding any damage/loss claims.
